Burna Boy recently ignite a debate on social media, a fire that sparked a series of conversations about his claims to being richer than Wizkid and Davido.

Udogwu if you like to call him his Igbo version of a strong man which also means king, or you can call him the fearless African Giant.

A little background on the personality of Burna Boy shows that he has always been outspoken. While some people think of him as a proud arrogant man, others regard him as a tall African free thinker.

The Grammy award-winning Burna boy stirred up quite some storm in the past weeks after his outlandish claim about being the richest Nigerian artist – and we were like how na!?

Burna wasn’t done though and he would go on to also drag the rest of Africa into the matter as he also boasted about being the most paid artiste in Africa.

Now hold on Burna!

For real?

like seriously, baba how then do we know if truly you are richer, I mean there should be something to show for the claims.

I mean Africa is dying of poverty, and Nigeria your country is decaying. baba do give away no be only to talk, you cant just jest on us like that na, I mean spare us some change if the money long, abi na only me the think am?

The good thing here is that Burna is one of the very few African artists that has enjoyed the biggest shine African artists ever got and that alone is a joyful thing to feel.

The effrontery! some will yelped, but not us, so we decided to pry further, but, we weren’t the only ones.

Say what you will about the Multi-award winning Burna Boy, but it’s almost impossible not to love his larger-than-life attitude and the confidence he exudes.

Some even argue his fearless African spirit is the reincarnation of Shaka Zulu now in a musical form who is unapologetically opinionated and is very much within his rights to hold such a “thought” about his earnings. However these things are a question of facts and not intuition, are you there!?.

In his now-infamous tweet, he wrote:

“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest-paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not.”

Those lines – not any from his recent songs – brought quite a number of criticism just hours after he made the post,

The ‘Odogwu’ crooner in a live video on Instagram addressed inquiries from fans who compared him with his contemporaries.

In the video, Burna Boy professed to be richer than Wizkid, Davido, and other musicians. He also threatened to expose his colleagues if they came out to oppose his statement.

A critic wrote, and said: “Wizkid get money pass you.”

When told that Davido had more money, Burna Boy (laughed) and simply asked, “how?”

Meanwhile, we did a little digging to ascertain the net worth of Nigeria’s, arguably, three biggest artists. And voila! See the result of our findings below:

WIZKID’s Net worth is $38 million dollars.

Davido’s Net Worth is $45 million dollars.

Burna boy’s Net worth is $17 million dollars.

But this is not to say we made conclusive statistics, it’s just a matter of what we found on search engines. we are certain that when the time comes Udogwu will provide FACTS lol
