The esteemed business mogul, Tony Elumelu, marks another milestone as he celebrates his 61st birthday today, March 22.
Taking to his social media platforms, he shares a heartfelt message with his followers, expressing his joy and gratitude for another year of life.
“+1 today 🎉and no better way to celebrate than announcing the 2024 beneficiaries of Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme,” Elumelu wrote.
As part of the annual gesture of his foundation, Elumelu reveals that over 1,000 young men and women from all 54 African countries have been selected as beneficiaries of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme.
Each recipient will receive a non-refundable seed capital of $5,000, empowering them to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys and contribute to economic growth and development across the continent.
While sharing insight into the past, he said, “This journey began 10 years ago by Awele and I, with a vision to democratize luck and transform lives across Africa.”
