President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the Wuye Flyover, which links several districts within Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
Underscoring Mr Tinubu national development agenda, Ajuri Ngelale, his spokesman, disclosed in a statement on Thursday that the president’s administration seeks to prioritise the welfare of citizens.
Highlighting his commitment, Tinubu stressed that his administration aimed to build a nation where no one would be left behind, which his government described as “continuum.”
Additionally, he mentioned that his administration has improved the standard of living for residents in Abuja after laying the groundwork for “economic growth, social progress, and improved quality of life.”
Furthermore, as he spoke, he hailed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for successfully completing an overdue project initiated since 2009.

Reacting to Mr Tinubu, Wike disclosed the brain behind the project’s completion, saying that the president’s drastic step in taking off FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) helped in the actualization of the project.
