Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has declared the complete reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge after the extensive repair works aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency for residents.
Sanwo-Olu announced the reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge, in a statement addressed to Lagosians on Thursday.
The governor expressed gratitude to Lagosians for their patience and resilience during the repair period, emphasizing its crucial role in sustaining the city’s economic momentum.
The governor said: “I am pleased to announce the full reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge after extended repair works have been completed to ensure its safety and efficiency for all residents.”
The Governor extended his deepest appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Works, David Umahi, for their dedicated focus and attention to detail on the project.
He credited their commitment as instrumental in achieving the timely and high-quality completion of the necessary improvements.
