Afrobeat sensation, Seun Kuti, has unleashed a scathing criticism aimed at American music mogul DJ Khaled, highlighting his perceived silence concerning the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Kuti, known for his outspoken nature on social and political issues, did not mince words as he addressed what he perceives as DJ Khaled’s failure to leverage his platform to speak out against the atrocities faced by his people in Palestine.
Despite DJ Khaled’s Palestinian heritage, Kuti lamented the conspicuous absence of any public statements or gestures from the renowned ‘We De Best Music‘ boss regarding the plight of Palestinians.
Kuti’s comments came to light through a video message shared on his Instagram account, where he questioned DJ Khaled’s priorities in light of the suffering endured by his fellow Palestinians.
“DJ Khaled is from Palestine. This man has not said one word about the killing of his people,” Kuti asserted in the video. He further emphasized the stark contrast between DJ Khaled’s vocal promotion of his opulent lifestyle on social media and his apparent reluctance to address the grave humanitarian crisis unfolding in his homeland.
“But let a pair of trainers or a wristwatch come out, he would post that he has acquired it to prove that he is the greatest man. But he cannot speak against the killing of women and children in his home country,” Kuti added, expressing his disappointment with DJ Khaled’s perceived priorities.

Recall that the renowned music producer and artist recently ignited controversy once again, asserting that modern music production has significantly deteriorated in quality.
In an exclusive interview, he emphasized that only a select few, like himself, possess the discernment to recognize this decline.
“Music production has lost quality. Only a great producer like me can tell you,” DJ Khaled lamented, pointing out the rampant use of digital tools and software that have simplified the production process.
“Production changed. They made logic, they made loops, they made fruity loops, and production became too easy. You just simply have to tell the computer what to program.”
Khaled expressed his concern that the accessibility of digital technology has led to an influx of amateur producers flooding the industry.
“That’s why everybody is a producer and everybody is a DJ now,” he remarked.
“But it takes a great producer like me to tell you that most beats these days are garbage and fake.”
According to DJ Khaled, the transition from analogue systems to digital systems has contributed to a disregard for quality.
“The transition from analogue systems to digital systems has just made everything easy, and no one cares about quality anymore,” he asserted.
