Nigerian prodigy, Divine Ikubor, famously known as Rema, has been confirmed as a performer at the prestigious BRIT Awards 2024.
The revelation was made via the event organizer’s official social media platforms on Thursday morning.
“Stay calm, @heisrema will be performing at the #BRITs 2024.
“let’s gooooooo,” Brit Awards wrote via X.
The award ceremony is scheduled to hold in London on March 2, 2023.
Rema will join the rank of Burna Boy who was the first Nigerian artiste to perform at the Brit Awards in 2018.
The BRIT Awards are the British Phonographic Industry’s popular music awards, representing an annual celebration of outstanding achievements in the music industry.
The name was originally a shortened form of “British”, “Britain”, or “Britannia,” largely because in the early days of the awards, they were sponsored by Britannia Music Club.bIt subsequently became a backronym for British Record Industry Trusts Show.

Burna Boy and Asake find themselves nominated in the fiercely competitive International Artiste of the Year category, alongside global icons such as Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus.
Rema’s chart-topping single, ‘Calm Down,’ has secured a nomination in the coveted International Song of the Year category, where it contends with global hits like Billie Eilish’s ‘What Was I Made For’ and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘vampire.’
