Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Olamide was born on March 15, 1989, hailing from Bariga, Lagos State. He is the second child of Pa Adedeji and Ronke Osisanya Adedeji. Despite facing financial challenges that led him to drop out of Tai Solarin University, Olamide kicked off his musical journey in 2010 with the release of his debut single, “Eni Duro.” His early performances, including the one at the Hip Hop World Awards in the same year, marked the beginning of a remarkable career.
Musical Evolution
Olamide’s musical evolution is marked by a series of successful albums. His debut studio album, “Rapsodi” (2011), set the stage for collaborations with industry heavyweights, and the release of “YBNL” in 2012 solidified his position in the Nigerian music scene.
