Singer Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has vowed to release his collaborative song with Davido, even without the superstar’s approval.
The declaration came amidst brewing tensions between the two artists, stemming from a series of controversial events that unfolded on social media.
The saga began when BNXN recently threw a verbal jab at his colleague, Davido.
In a now-deleted tweet, BNXN engaged with a netizen identified as @lifeofolaa, who dared to label him as “mid.” BNXN swiftly fired back, stating that the individual had no authority to speak on matters related to music, especially considering their allegiance to Davido as seen in his DP.
In his response, BNXN said, “You be retard. Knowing your fave you no suppose dey speak on anything regarding music. Fem!”
One Twitter user, @heiskaptain, expressed disbelief at BNXN’s audacity, saying, “This davido disrespect is crazy sha, imagine Buju throwing subs at a whole Davido.”

Another user, Big Ayo, condemned BNXN’s actions, emphasizing that deleting the tweet did not absolve him of the offense. Big Ayo said, “Nah Buju is wrong for that tweet!!! Deleting doesn’t make it better either. Openly disrespecting Davido is rubbish & make no sense whatsoever.. from where to where???? He thinks davido is Ruger??”
Meanwhile, @thatdammygirlie issued a stern ultimatum, demanding a public apology from BNXN to Davido and his fan base, threatening cancellation otherwise. @thatdammygirlie added, “Buju needs to publicly apologize to Davido and 30BG or else we will cancel him.”
Buju’s tweet seemed not to have sat well with Davido, making him to reportedly delete a tweet where he teased a collaboration with BNXN.
An X user was quick to point out, “Omo Davido delete that tweet about him and Buju song. Chaii we are never getting that classic.”
BNXN replied in a quote: “I’ll drop it. I wrote everything. Tf are you people stressing me out for? Defending my artiste??
“They’ll delete this tweet but I’ve said my own. Nobody can bully me. Fans always blowing shit outta proportion.”
