Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday led the inauguration of a 37-member Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage headed by former Head of Federal Civil Service, Alhaji Bukar Goni.
The inauguration held in Abuja drew representatives from federal and state governments, the private sector, and organized labour.

The Vice President emphasised the importance of fair negotiations and encouraged committee members to work together to reach a resolution quickly.
The committee’s main task was to suggest a new national minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
