Once again, Manchester City are premier league champions as the defending champions have sealed their name in the history of English football thus becoming the first side to win the Premier League in four consecutive seasons.
Last season, they were treble champions and this season they have written their name as one of the best ever English sides ever.
Well, we at GOLDENPAGE MAGAZINE want to have a complete review of the last game week of the season, all the facts and scorelines.
The top four of the season (Champions League candidates)
Of course, we kick off from the the top of the table where Aston Villa were shocked by Middle tablers Crystal Palace 5-0, thanks to goals from an informed Mateta and Eze. Mateta put three past Villa’s backup goalie Olsen, while Eze finished it up with two.
Whereas for Arsenal, they ended the season once again trophyless as they beat Everton 2-1. Thanks to goals from right back Tomisayu and Kai Harvertz, the Merseyside team had initially given the London side a scar when Idriss Gueye opened the scoring from a direct free-kick.
However, Mikel Arteta’s side was able to find their rhythm and end the season in a high.
Then, the champions Manchester City were able to showcase their strength as they dominated West Ham united, the scoring was opened by Premier League player of the season, Phil Foden as he scored twice to put the champions ahead.
Ghanian Mohammed Kudus gave the London team home with a beautiful over-head kick goal. It would not be enough as Rodri settled the score line, scoring the final goal that eventually ensured City’s fourth successive premier league title.
5-10 (Europa league and Conference League)
Tottenham confirmed that they would be going for Europa alongside London rivals Chelsea. Chelsea could still lose their place if City are to lose to Manchester United at Wembley for the FA Cup, but the possibility of that happening is very slim as City remain a dominant force in English football and they have once again proved it.
Manchester United, however, made certain that they would end up in an European competition next season as the best Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton in what would be his last game in charge of the club.

The scoring was opened by Dalot in the latter stages of the second half. It was then followed up by a goal from substitute Rasmus Højlund, thanks to a rare, but familiar assist from Christian Eriksen.
Relegated Teams
All three teams that made it to the premier league around this time last year have all found themselves on a one way trip back to the second division of English football.
Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town have shown that they are not yet ready to be a premier league side just yet. The point is, if they are serious and ready, they can emulate the success of Leicester city, Southampton, and Leeds United who though went down last season yet showed determination to return back to the Premier League this season.
