Renowned celebrity, Kim Kardashian, is gearing up for a new venture as both executive producer and featured personality in an upcoming docuseries centered around the iconic Elizabeth Taylor.

The three-part documentary, tentatively titled “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar,” has been commissioned by the BBC and is in the hands of Passion Pictures, the production house behind the Oscar-winning “Searching for Sugar Man” and the recent Sundance success “Super/Man” delving into the life of Christopher Reeve.

Set to offer an in-depth exploration of Taylor’s acting prowess and technique, the series aims not only to captivate cinema enthusiasts with Taylor’s mesmerizing performances, but also to shed light on her transformative impact on the relationship between audiences and stars.

Kardashian emphasized Taylor’s role in reinventing the nature of fame and breaking barriers in Hollywood, paving the way for her evolution into a billion-dollar businesswoman, activist, and advocate.

Fremantle, a global content producer, will be responsible for distributing the documentary series to audiences worldwide, ensuring Taylor’s legacy reaches an international audience.

Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself a fighter,” remarked Kardashian, who had the privilege of conducting Taylor’s final interview.

She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life – and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that blueprint.

The documentary promises a star-studded lineup of interviews, featuring Dame Joan Collins, Margaret O’Brien, Carole Bayer Sager, and even leading scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci, who collaborated with Taylor in the fight against AIDS. The inclusion of such diverse voices speaks to Taylor’s multifaceted life and the profound impact she had on various spheres.
