“How do you make the same mistake twice? My first child is his 5th child” – Annie Idibia breaks down in tears as she speaks on how embarrassing it is that her husband, 2Baba has 5 kids with other women (video)
Reading most of this articles, how bloggers are interpreting another human being feelings, and giving a tag to her expression as if they are in that person’s life.
Once in the while, the inside emotional struggle and suffering people go through every day gets to be shared in public, because is not possible to be a public figure and still maintain a private life completely, we all have our various lives, and family problems that we are all dealings with, being a celebrity is more times harder to deal matters that are supposedly private being a public figure.
This is why celebrities sometimes run into breaking points trying to stay silent. It is even suicide and dangerous to for people to stay silent when dealing with emotional pains and heartbreak.
Some celebrities who tried to stay silent, sometimes end up dying in silence, just because the are afraid of public backlash.
However, those who choose to speak out and stay positive on family matters should not be judged with fire and brimstones, with hash tone invoking public hate, when the public don’t show empathy to such issues, it will discourage people from speaking up and also encourage public figures to say silent instead of sharing their hard times on public medium because most of the time, they speak out just to let out the bad energy and release their grudges, anger, and anxiety with the hope of getting the public support to keep them strong to continue doing their jobs as entertainers.
Annie Idibia is a Nollywood actress and wife of renowned singer, one of the biggest African musicians, 2Baba, it’s not easy dealing with her emotions as a mother and a wife to one of the greatest controversial husbands in Nigeria. It is natural that she get emotional at anytime such a topic is brought to her, such as when she broke down when she spoke about how embarrassing it is that her husband has five kids with other women.
Annie is a reflection of a real strong African woman, because she is the mother of two, to a man she knew before other women who later came into his life and became the first to bear children for the same man.
It will be fair that Nigerians respect her and accord her the honor she deserves as a hard-working woman, an entrepreneur, and a talented actress, instead of taking advantage of the situation to inflict public pain on her.
I think 2baba is also a wise man who loves his wife, but the phenomenon can not change the fact that he is a father to children from different mothers, which in African culture is allowed, as he can also be married to two or more wives, but out of love and respect, the man stick with Annie, the very first woman to believed and supported him. I think for Annie, knowing that her husband has kids with different women is hurtful. Especially since she met him before these other women and her own first child happens to be his 5th.
Her tears while recounting the many humiliations and embarrassments she’s had to endure because of the situation and still being in the center of the commotion of that relationship should be studied and recommended, because many men and families have these same issues and they are tearing themselves apart, instead, she chooses to handle it by living with it.
Any right-thinking person would wonder: if 2baba wasn’t planning to settle down with his other baby’s mother, why should he father more than one child?
How do you make the same mistake twice until the fifth time when you already have been with another woman or someone that you likely want to settle down with?
The fact remains that Annie knew her husband first and then when eventually you wake up to different people having babies for him and then he has five different kids with other women is a situation she will have to live her entire life with, considering that, her first child is her husband fifth child, and she met him before the other women. So you know what that is? You know how many humiliations and embarrassment and damn and she ls like… man… How do you repeat the same mistake twice?” and again and again she is right.
Note that in she said the sweet moments in their marriage outweigh the ugly moments, and they have forever to make up for the bad times. that is a powerful woman, do you know how many women would destroy 2baba life and ruin the family.
I hail that woman.
