Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has extended heartfelt condolences to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state following the demise of their Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams.
The late Fatai Adams, who served as the chairman of the PDP in Ondo state, breathed his last in the early hours of Wednesday at a private hospital in the state capital, Akure.
Kennedy Ikantu Peretei, spokesperson for the Ondo PDP, conveyed the party’s condolences to the grieving family in an official statement. The loss of Adams is not only a blow to the political landscape, but also a personal tragedy for those who knew him well.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, expressing his grief, characterized Adams as a true gentleman and a leader of the opposition who engaged in politics with a spirit devoid of bitterness. The late chairman’s contributions to the development of Ondo State, both as a political figure and a member of the State House of Assembly, were acknowledged by the Governor.
Describing the passing of Adams as a profound loss, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the impact on the political family, as well as the communities of Irun Akoko, Akoko North West, and the entire state.
In these trying times, the Governor extended his sympathies to the family of the deceased and offered prayers for strength to bear the loss.
