The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has hailed the Nigerian nominee artists who have harnessed their talents in representing Nigeria at the just concluded Grammy award.
Today, in a post made on the governor’s X handle, he disclosed that he is pleased with the way some of the Nigerian nominees like Burna Boy, Davido, Ayra Star, Asake, Tems, and Olamide, among others, have shown mastery on their exclusive platforms, showcasing world-class talent.
“A special shoutout to @burnaboy, @davido, @ayrastarr, @asakemusik, @temsbaby, @Olamide, and all Nigerian talents represented as nominees at the Grammys, the apex music award in the world,” the governor stated.
Adding that the Nigerians are proud of them all despite the fact that they did not obtain a Grammy award this year, they are still counted as winners at the award ceremony held in Los Angeles, Crypto.Com Arena, yesterday.
