Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has directed the issuance of employment letters to successful candidates who participated in the recent recruitment drive conducted by the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS), on Tuesday.
Aiyedatiwa’s Chief Press Secretary Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement said the issuance of employment was aimed at boosting revenue generation and stimulating economic growth in the state.
This directive reflects the state government’s steadfast dedication to youth empowerment, job creation, and the overall advancement of the state.

Recalling the recruitment process, the ODIRS conducted a first batch of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) in October 2023, followed by a supplementary CBT in November 2023. Subsequently, shortlisted successful candidates from the CBT phase progressed to the oral interview stage, which was overseen by a team from Price WaterHouse Coopers (PwC Nigeria) in December 2023.
Upon the submission of their consolidated reports, Governor Aiyedatiwa directed the issuance of employment letters to 165 successful applicants.
Furthermore, in line with the governor’s approval, the State Ministry of Health has launched a recruitment drive for healthcare workers in the state.
