While many may not be unsure of the reasons for why many of these online paraders of the singles class’ titles proudly flaunt their status so, what is almost certain is, behind the scenes, they might be entangled in the heaviest of relationships.
Social media has created a platform where portraying singlehood can become a trend, a game of catching attention, likes, and virtual applause. There is no question this truth is here with us, only if it has not come to stay.
An insider-look, however, will reveal that some of these ladies engage in this act of deception as a form of self-validation or a means to maintaining a certain online persona. The pressure to conform to certain expectations pushes them to parade a single life, while in reality, they navigate committed relationships.
