At the World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings in Washington DC, the Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to showcasing the progress made in the Nigerian economy to attract greater foreign investment, aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.
On Thursday in Washington, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, emphasised the ongoing bold and strategic reforms by the administration of President Tinubu during a press briefing.

Mr Edun pointed out that the policies implemented by the government are yielding positive results, notably evidenced by a slowdown in food inflation.
Similarly, he was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, all present to showcase Nigeria’s economic progress.
