Obi shared this dissatisfaction with the recent deportation of citizens on his X page on Monday, stating that all Nigerians have the right to live in any part of the states in Nigeria, irrespective of state of origin, and should be treated with “dignity and respect.”

He also added that he finds it “distasteful because of the far-reaching effects it will have on our national cohesion and development.”
