He was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, United States, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Davido’s musical journey began as a member of the group KB International.

However, it was his solo career that catapulted him to fame, marked by the release of “Dami Duro,” the breakout single from his debut studio album, Omo Baba Olowo, in 2012.
