The Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi on Thursday decorated recently appointed Assistant Comptrollers-General (ACGs), Comptrollers, and other senior officers at the Customs Corporate Headquarters Abuja.
This decoration followed the recent appointments of ACG Florence Nano Ogar-Modey and ACG Queen Ogbudu, along with the promotion of 2,209 senior officers, as announced by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
While addressing the newly adorned officers, the CGC underscored that the 2023 promotion exercise was conducted based on exceptional performance and merit.

He charged all officers and personnel to redouble their efforts, assuring them that dedication and commitment to duty would not go unnoticed and unrewarded.
He guaranteed that committed officers would receive due recognition and rewards from the Management Team.
He emphasised the alignment with his ongoing efforts to achieve the 3-point agenda: Consolidation, Collaboration, and Innovation, in support of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Manthra.
During her address, Queen Obudu, the Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, expressed profound gratitude in her vote of thanks. She reassured a steadfast belief in the officers’ capabilities meeting expectations.
