Addressing the role of faith leaders, President Tinubu acknowledged the pivotal contribution of Christian leaders in promoting unity and peace within the country. He urged them to rally behind the administration’s anti-corruption initiatives by instigating a change in mindset regarding financial matters among the Nigerian populace.
In a plea to Christian leaders, the President emphasized the importance of preaching messages of understanding, tolerance, perseverance, and hope for Nigerians. He cautioned against public condemnation, asserting that such actions only perpetuate harm to the nation. President Tinubu implored Nigerians to alter their mindset, cautioning against making money the focal point of their lives, as he expressed optimism that the nation would eventually flourish.

Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of CAN, praised President Tinubu’s efforts and urged him to persist in providing good governance with a focus on security, inclusivity, and peaceful co-existence. Expressing solidarity, the Archbishop affirmed CAN’s commitment to partnering with the administration in nation-building, portraying the association as a non-partisan and willing collaborator.
“CAN has maintained an active presence at all levels from the national to the grassroots, and we have remained non-partisan. You will always find our association as a ready and willing partner in nation-building,” he emphasized.
