Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has called on his team to improve, following their defeat to West Ham at the Emirates.
Arteta, while expressing his disappointment, also commended his players for their efforts.

The Gunners failed to displace Liverpool on the top of the table after suffering a shocking 2-0 defeat at the Emirates to David Moyes’s side.
While speaking to news men, he expressed disappointment adding that they had so much dominance in the game and were really in a good position.
Once again, it seemed like an error from VAR as West Ham’s opener surely will spark debates, given that as, like the defeat to Newcastle, the ball seemed to have gone out of play in the build-up to the goal but when asked about it, Arteta gave away little, maybe careful to avoid another fine.
Arteta said, “It is what it is. The technology we have at the moment is not clear enough if the ball is out.”
“We dominated for 100 minutes. When we had big situations, we had players inside the box totally free. I think the players put an enormous effort in. It’s a difficult dressing room right now, but we have another game in 72 hours. This is football; we have to improve in certain areas.”
