The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has nominated 12 commissioners to the House of Assembly, while awaiting confirmation of the nominees on Wednesday.
The announcement of the nominated commissioners was disclosed in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tayo Oluwatuyi.
The names of the newly nominated commissioners include: Segun Ayerin, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire, Hamidu Takuro, Banji Ajaka, Mr. Boye Ologbese, Mr. Sunday Akinwalere, Lola Fagbemi, Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunley, Mr. Rasheed Badmus, Mr. Olayato Aribo, Mr. Adewale Akinlosotu, and Gbenga Olaniyi.

As part of his political obligations in enforcing efficiency in the discharge of his duties, Governor Aiyedatiwa nominated commissioners whose office are expected to be confirmed.
However, the state governor appealed to the house “to give expedited consideration to the confirmation of the nominees.“
