In a candid interview with HipTv on Friday, renowned Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has boldly declared that he does not believe in God and rejects the concept of a divine creator.

Seun expressed his disbelief in the conventional idea of a higher power overseeing the world, stating, “I don’t believe in God. I don’t believe in the concept of this guy watching everyone, and he will judge you when you die.”
The artist challenged the notion of a benevolent creator, questioning the logic behind attributing the world’s creation to a higher being.
“I don’t believe that there is something responsible for the creation of the world,” Seun continued. He raised concerns about the state of the world and the suffering of a significant portion of the human population. “If someone actually created this, are we supposed to be giving the person credit? 80 percent of human beings are living in hunger, and we are supposed to be his most prized possession. There is something, but not the way we are told that it is.”
