Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, professionally known as Simi, has unveiled the release date for her upcoming single, “All I Want.”
The news comes straight from the artist herself, as she took to her verified social media handle to break the silence and appease her eager fans.
“I made you wait so long. So bad. I’m sorry 🧎🏾♀️
“First of alll – Thank YOU for waiting.
“Second of all, the wait is over…or it will be in 7 days. Who doesn’t love a countdown ~ #ALLiWant my first single this year is out on the 23rd of Feb🥹,” she announced.
“All I Want” marks Simi’s first solo single in 2024, following her previous collaboration with husband Adekunle Gold on the track “Look What You Made Me Do (LWYMMD)” to commemorate their 5th anniversary.

Recall that Simi and her husband celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary earlier this year, subsequently following with the release of their joint single, LWYMMD.
Simi, taking to her verified Instagram account, posted captivating pictures from their wedding ceremony, expressing gratitude for five years of marital bliss. She described Adekunle Gold as not only the best man she knows, but also her best friend.
Adekunle Gold’s Response
Adekunle Gold reciprocated the sentiments on his X account, sharing a music video of the couple. In his caption, he reflected on five years of sharing, loving, laughing, giving, taking, and choosing each other every day.
The artist then shared a teaser of what would become their joint single, a collaborative project titled “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Simi’s last solo single, “Stranger,” was released mid-2023.
“When people think of love, it’s usually the bed of roses that comes along with it that people think of. So, with “Stranger”, I wanted people to look at relationships from the perspective of being a huge commitment where one has to leave their comfort zone so the relationship can work.
“It shows how love can be complicated which can make one change in so many ways,” she shared in an interview.
