Dollar Scarcity: Abuja BDC Operators Shuts Down

The Abuja chapter of the Association of Bureau De Change (BDC) operators have closed their businesses due to a scarcity of US dollars.

BDC operators announced the indefinite closure of business starting from today.

The association’s chairman, Abdulahi Dauran, linked their decision to the US dollar scarcity. He pointed out online banking transactions and cryptocurrency as factors worsening the scarcity.
